Visit

The Commander of the Turkish Land Forces General Metin Tokel is visiting Japan as the official guest of the Commander of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force General Masayoshi Arai. As part of the visit, he met with the Vice Minister of Defense of Japan Masahisa Miyazaki, the Chief of Staff of the Japan Self-Defense Forces General Hiroaki Uchikura, and the Commander of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force General Masayoshi Arai at their offices and discussed bilateral military relations. General Metin Tokel will also conduct inspections at the 1st Airborne Brigade Command of Japan and attend the Distinguished Observer Day of the 2026-Indo/Pacific New Year Jump Exercise.
